Cuminanza stores only the data necessary to operate the platform. No sharing with third parties, no tracking, no advertising. All data is stored exclusively in Switzerland.

2. What data we collect
Upon registration
- Phone number — for login via SMS code (no password)
- Name — for display on your profile
- Home address and postcode — for address verification and radius search
During use of the app
- Content you create (help requests, marketplace listings, messages)
- Memberships in associations and businesses
- Follow relationships with associations and businesses
Technical data
- No cookies for tracking or advertising
- No server logs containing personal data
3. Purpose of data processing
- Phone number — login and identification
- Address — verification of local residency and calculation of search radius
- Content — display in the feed and directories
- Logs — security and error resolution
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
4. Address verification
To confirm that users actually reside in the stated municipality, a physical postcard containing a verification code may be sent to the provided address. The verification code is deleted immediately after successful use. The address itself remains stored for the radius search and is not visible to other users.
5. Disclosure of data
Cuminanza does not share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Hosting infrastructure: Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva (Switzerland) — solely for the technical provision of the platform
- SMS delivery: ASPSMS (VADIAN.NET AG, Zurich, Switzerland) — for sending one-time codes (OTP). Only the phone number and the code are transmitted. No data is stored by the provider.
- Where required by law (e.g. official request)
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data is stored for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time — directly in the app under Profile → Delete account. Once approved by an admin, your personal data will be anonymised.
Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
7. Data security
- All data is stored exclusively on Infomaniak servers in Switzerland
- Transmission encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- No password stored — login exclusively via SMS code
- Infomaniak is ISO 27001 certified
- No data falls under the US CLOUD Act
8. Your rights (nDSG Art. 25–27)
You have the right to:
- Access — what data we hold about you
- Rectification — correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and all data
- Restriction — restriction of processing in certain cases
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

9. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy when necessary. The current version is always available on this page. Registered users will be informed of any material changes.
